Reflection for my practical 1&2

I chose the topic; discuss the impact of the global warming on wildlife. The reason I chose this is because it is interesting and I want to find out whether it is true that global warming will impact on wildlife.  After choosing the topic, I was asked to search the internet for information and categorize them into organisational website, blog, magazine and discussion forum.

In the process of searching for information, I came upon many animals are becoming endangered due to the effect of global warming, I felt very upset.

Organisational website provides information is the most trusted and reliable for me to use. Its aim is to provide the information for the researchers. They even add in pictures to aid the understanding of their works as picture carries thousands of words. However, the terms or the words that they used in the information are difficult to understand for the layman like me.

Blogs information that they provided are personal view and opinion related to the topic. Though it contains some facts, sometimes the information is just too one-sided and wants us to think that they are doing the right things.

Magazine information might be the electronic version of a printed publication. It is similar to material published periodically. It is posted into the website as a electronic journal. It is an individual articles.

Discussion forum information is gathered from everyone who left their opinions and views on the comment. Therefore, they provide two sides of the story. It also provides the person who wish to use the information to analyse. There is no right or wrong in the views and opinions given in the forum. However, we should do keep in mind that there isn’t any vivid details on the topic and it is time consuming to investigate the topic.

If you want to ask for my opinion, I will tell you this, I gave in my 100% trust to the organization website. Why? It was because they provide latest and recent information than other categories.
